Historically, third-party services that were not optimized or tuned correctly could result in unexpected and gradual battery drain. While this was commonplace, this has never been true for Teslascope, as we have worked very closely with Tesla engineers over the years to ensure our systems were designed to match the natural sleep patterns of Tesla vehicles.

As of February 2025 and with the transition to utilizing Fleet Telemetry, outside of commands sent manually by a vehicle owner, Teslascope has no capabilities that automatically wake up a vehicle, or can otherwise result in battery drain. If a Tesla Service representative has communicated that a third-party may be the cause of your battery drain, please ask for additional context or confirmation of the specific third-party.
