Update 6.3

May 12, 2026

iOS App: Now In Early Access

Our official iOS app has begun early access testing via TestFlight! We will be gradually expanding our early access group in waves. Each wave will take place over the course of one to two weeks, with an anticipated official launch on the App Store in June!

At any time throughout our early access, you can request for an invite by contacting our team at [email protected]. Please note that the acceptance of invites outside of Wave 3 is at our sole discretion. Invites are intended to be gradually distributed to ensure platform stability.

Wave 1: Security-oriented Testers

This wave is focused on individuals and companies that focus on security. We intend to work closely with these initial testers to analyze our app, look for areas of improvement, and work toward a smoother, safer experience before it expands to more of our members and the global community.

Wave 2: Pro and Plus Subscribers

This wave will allow for all active subscribers on our platform to gain immediate access to early access. A new option to connect an Apple Account has been added to Integrations (under Account Settings). This uses Apple's official "Sign In With Apple" functionality. Invites will automatically be sent out to Apple Accounts associated with an active subsciption.

Wave 3: Email Requests

Invites will go out en masse to all remaining requests for invites.

Official Launch

At the conflusion of Wave 1-3, we will be submitting our app for official release on the App Store! We remain hopeful for a smooth process with Apple's app review, although will share any details of delays (where applicable and permitted).

Sign In With Apple

We've added Sign In With Apple as a new authentication option for Teslascope accounts.

Software Compare

We've launched Software Compare, a new tool for checking whether one Tesla software update has been observed upgrading to another. It includes the latest known vehicle counts, update history details, and compatibility context for each version.

Software Updates now also include FSD Utilization, and we automatically determine the included FSD version by reading the release notes bundled with each update.

Vehicle Improvements

The Vehicle Glimpse header now includes the FSD version when we have it available for your vehicle and hardware.

Vehicle Controls have been restored, with backend refactoring to improve performance and response time.

FSD percentage reliability has been improved for drives.

Historical Service Alerts

Historical Service Alerts are now available as a new Pro subscription feature, making it easier to review prior vehicle service alerts over time. Further improvements to this feature are planned including PDF exports, sorting by category, and more.

Subscription Improvements

Vehicles can now subscribe to premium subscriptions without a payment method on file as long as the account has enough available credit.

Mobile App Improvements

Support requests can now be created directly from the iOS mobile app.

In addition, numerous updates have been applied exclusive to the early access Teslascope iOS app.

Developer API Improvements

We've added a User Deactivation API endpoint.

We've added a Vehicle Activity API endpoint that combines drives and charges into a single activity feed.

Telemetry Improvements

The Vehicle Telemetry handler received a major refactor and can now process over two dozen vehicle status fields in under three seconds.

Technical

We've added safeguards and now enforce package version pinning to reduce the risk of NPM supply chain attacks.

We've also added a custom package review script that prevents harmful packages from being installed locally during development and in CI/CD.
