Factory Software Updates

We can now detect when a software update is considered a "factory update", which means its exclusively available to vehicles that were recently delivered (0-6 weeks typically).

These updates can be received by on a prior factory update, although can not be received by the global fleet once they are moved off of them.

Software Update Feature Announcements on X

Whenever a new feature is detected for the first time, our systems will now automatically reply to the original update accountment post with a direct link to the specific feature.

Software Update Improvements

• The Software Updates home area now includes a pie chart so you can see update distribution at a glance.
• Individual software update pages show country distribution as percentages instead of raw counts.
• Sections on software update pages have been rearranged based on community feedback.
• The Update Timeline page now uses a more current example of semantic versioning, with clearer explanations for each part of the version string.
